This 1-of-1 wrap skirt was hand-woven by skilled mengkuang weavers using the traditional gadas weaving technique, similar to that of a mengkuang mat. Edges are left raw. A total of 314 meters of cotton strips were used, made from naturally dyed cotton. The yellow hue came from pomegranate skin, while the brown colour was derived from mangrove bark.
