Our Summer/Monsoon 2027 collection kicks off with an open-invite runway show in the historic halls of Bangunan Pak Peng.
The collection, together with exhibitions by our collaborators, will remain on view from Nov 22nd through Dec 6th on the second floor of Bangunan Pak Peng.
A feature of the 2027 Summer/Monsoon collection is the collaboration with People Textile, a textile retailer which has been operating since 1972 on Jalan Petaling in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, but which, sadly, will be ceasing operations by the end of the year.
This site-specific exhibition frames the store as a living library, shaped by over five decades of trade, craft, and human presence.
An exhibition about the mengkuang dyeing practice of the Terengganu-based Khadijah Yong (HKY Collections), showing the exquisite results of her dyeing practice, revealing colours that we don’t even have a name for, will run from Dec 5th through Jan 3rd at SMTH by Else on Jalan Tun H S Lee.
This marks the first time these colours are gathered in a single space.
