Established in 2018 across Kuala Lumpur and Terengganu, Malaysia, INKAA is a craft collective and independent fashion label dedicated to making meaningful pieces through the exploration of traditional craft and everyday narratives. We specialise in the traditional Malaysian crafts of batik print-making, batik block-making, mengkuang-weaving, and brassware-making, using traditional practices as our guiding compass and also our playground for experimentation. We value a slow and involved approach in our work; all our products are developed and produced in small batches in close collaboration with artisans in Malaysia.
